Back Bolt Fixture Plate Workflow

A 3-step diagram showing the McChine 'Picture Framing' workflow, with text labels for each stage: prepping the stock, mounting on the fixture plate, and the finished part ready for removal.

Setup 1 End

1. Prep Your Stock Machine the mounting holes and "picture frame" pocket into the back of your raw material while it's held in a standard vise.

Setup 2 Start

2. Mount & Machine Bolt the prepped stock to the fixture plate. This bottom-up workholding gives you complete, unobstructed access to machine the top and sides of your part.

Setup 2 End

3. Finish & Remove Machine the final profile. Once done, simply remove the part from the plate and break the small tabs to release your finished piece.
